About a year back I toured around Mexico for about a month. The main cities I recommend that you see are Jalisco, Guadalajara, Mexico City, and Cancun.

I stayed at a beach resort in Cancun (very expensive!!) and enjoyed a trip to Merida to see some Mayan ruins. It was a crazy fun experience, and even learned a little Mayan!

Riviera Maya Playa sounds wonderful. I wonder if you have to pay exhorbitant prices for accomodation there?

I really like the Mayan Riveria too but I think my favourite place is Huatulco. It's quite isolated and quiet. The beaches were beautiful!

I agree that Mexico is one of an amazing country in the world. A lot of beautiful places that attracts the tourist to visit with. The beaches are cool, luxury hotel is there that offers great facilities and people are very nice.
