Hey guys,
My parents are planning to travel to Manila this summer. They are staying at the Avenue Hotel. Anyone know of any attractions nearby???
Wow, there is so much there in Manila, there are many hotels, restaurants, etc. You wont have any problem with the people as they are very hospitable. If you know english then everythings gonna be fine
Manila is a wonderful place, the city itself is an attraction, the beaches are too good...

Have to admit, Manila freaked me out a bit. Can't even remember the hotel we stayed in, but it was supposed to be 4 star, and was the pits, with a malnourished dog who was forced to sniff your belongings before you entered.
Then there was the bomb blast somewhere in Makati.
Every second security guy thought he was Arnie or the terminator. Those coolers, and the shotgun! Wow...and the signs before you entered a restaurant...."Deposit your weapons here."
Scooted from there real quick...went to a fabulous beach resort called Borocay. Just lovely!
