Anyone here been to Shanghai?

I think that its a great city. There are A LOT of skyscrapers.

Maybe even more than New York City.

Their building codes require all new developments within the city to have a minimum height.

Sounds environmental...

Shanghai is awesome. However, I feel that their food is really fatty. They use a lot of lard in their foods. Also I find shanghainese to be a very "loud" language, no offense or anything.

Yeah shanghai is a great city. i have been there once a few years ago. the shopping mall/office mixed use design is so cool.

all of its urban core shopping malls have something (office/condos) on top.

Shanghai is a tight place. Be sure to visit Pudong (the new financial district) and Jing An (the in-city city center).

I would love to go to shanghai. Waiting for my exams to get over and then will think of it.
