Beijing is an awesome city. Though very polluted, it is amazing how quickly China has been developing. Anyone else been there before? Did you like it?

Beijing is awesome. It has a lot of historical things like the Forbidden City and is close to the Great Wall. Yet it also has major signs of the chinese industrialization and skyscrapers etc.

Let's hope the pollution there doesn't affect the Olympic athletes performances!

Yeah, the pollution has been a big issue. Last I heard, they are doing the horse racing in Hong Kong???

Beijing is a nice city. I have been there on an exchange trip there. I went to Tsinghua U there for a semester and it's great!

Indeed...absolutely superb.

And if there's time in your travels, would also like to include the 'Bell Temple' in this list. An amazing amount or number of bells from different dynasties. The strange thing however was that I never heard the sound of a bell in the 'Bell Museum'.

I wish to go to Beijing for a tour...
