The Palace Museum, also called the Forbidden City, is located in the center of Beijing?China .The imperial palace used by emperors of the Ming and Qing Dynasties is the largest and most complete ancient wooden-structure building complex in the world. Construction of the Forbidden City started in 1406 and lasted 14 years. 24 emperors were enthroned there.

Yeah the forbidden city is awesome. i studied chinese history in college and watch a lot of TVB movies about the qing dynasty. its fun learning real history first hand by going to the place the emperor lived.
