I'm live in thailand (The Land of smile ) , for 13-15 April 2008 in Thailand have Songkran Festival at chiang mai provience ,
Partake in this ancient spectacle in Chiang Mai with merit-making activities, a procession of Buddha images and bathing rituals,
the sprinkling of lustral water to seek the blessing of elders, sand-stupa building, folk games, Lanna cultural shows and water throwing.
This festival is very funny and freshh...

Oh wow, My freind who works for a travel company has visited Thailand and has praised Thailand a lot. She did mention about the Chiang Mai Songkran Festival. What is it all about?
I remember her telling me about the whole cultural thing.
Does sound exicting.
