Hi! I'm from India and I are planning a week-long vacation in May. Unfortunately, we're both working in banking (corporate and investment) and hardly have time to take a breather. So we're looking at this vacation as something fun that we can do together. We love travelling and managed a 4-month study-vacation in Europe last year.
For this vacation, we can't decide between Cambodia and Vietnam, given the short time that we have. We would like recommendations on where to go and what sort of an itinerary to consider.
1. Budget on the cheaper side, but we dont want to compromise by staying in ramshacle places.
2. Youth hostels/lodges will do
3. Is the weather unbearable during that time of the year?
4. What can we see in 1 week?
5. Travel experiences are more than welcome.
