Hi im new here and new to traveling in general. I'm wondering what peoples experiences of meeting up with strangers to arrange a trip acrosss Europe has been like, or if people actualy do this. I'm interested in it myself as im 18 years old and i want to start traveling, but no one i know to go with.

I've never done it before, but after seeing so many scary movies about strangers and travel, I wouldn't want to do it myself.
I'm sure there are good people out there that you can find if you take the time, but as for me I don't think I could trust traveling in foreign places with strangers.
No way would I ever do that - very scary!!!!
My advise is better dont try because it too risky. Anyway if the stranger is the one who come from same community with you I think that will not cause so much problem. Everything is up to you.

I wouldn't do it, but I believe it can be an interesting experience. It is a good way to save on expenses by group bookings etc if you want to see the world and don't have anyone you know willing to go with you.
On my experience's account, I find people of Europe very friendly to help. But it would always have been better only if you had some friends to go with you, or maybe some relatives to go with you. Who knows strangers, you need a lot of guts for that

Traveling with strangers is risky because they can do anything but if you get a very good person as a stranger to travel with, you are lucky to do it but who knows cant judge a person the moment we see him...

Not that everyone is 'loose' in the head. Just beware and have your back-up plans - - - -going in a group for the first time with some of yr trustworthy friends
