Brazil, at least when I visited it about two years ago, was a great experience for me. I stayed with some family and Rio de Janeiro and experienced life as a beach bum, which the locals of this city have a reputation for being. So needless to say I spent much time drinking and playing futebol and capoeira on the beach, and had a blast doing very simple things for free. All in all, great experience without spending a ton of money.

The most expensive thing will be the flight if you can find a cheap place to stay (or free in my case!). They speak Portuguese here, not Spanish, but they are very similar so I recommend picking up a phrase book before you go.
How exciting for you Smile How long were you there? Any pics to show us?
I got to stay there for about a month. Unfortunately I don't have the flash drive with all of my pics with me right now, but once I get my hands on it I'll be sure to post some up!
Great, looking forward to it Smile
I'd like to see the pics! Bgkof
