I haven't been here, but I would really like to go.
The only thing is that thanks to the United States, there was a very vicious and bloody civil war about two decades ago and today there is a very large gang (Mara Salvatrucha) that goes around recruiting everyone and killing those who refuse, so it's a very dangerous place to go.
Anyone have experience traveling throughout this country?
