I am a Singaporean. But I have lived in Brisbane, Australia for one year. I simply love Brisbane.
Last December, I went back to Brisbane to check it out again. Man...has Brisbane changed. Now it is much more busy with a large Asian population.
No matter what... I still love Brisbane.... especially the Gold Coast!

Hey i heard its full of chinese. Is it true? My friends tell me there has been some sort of a chinese invasion. She is currently pursuing a dual masters course at the state university and tells me she sees all Chinese around her. Looks like India needs to increase the brain drain to match up with the Chinese there.

Well it isn't full of Chinese, there's a heck of a lot of Australians there too 
Australia is very multicultural and all the cities have many representatives of many different countries calling Australia home 
Brisbane isn't that crash hot, it's a cement city, meaning it's more or less a buisness district.
Not many tourist attractions and plenty of bad traffic, i would'nt plan a holiday around it.
There's Goldcoast there..
Sydney is expensive but it's the hub of a lot of nightlife and the weather is a little better than Brisbane during January to April
