Being from India, visiting Sydney was like a dream come true !
Sydney is filled with empty streets and has a very quite and calm atmosphere . I loved the surfing mainly . I couldn't learn sea surf boarding as well as I roller skate, but I loved cruising through the low waves .I absolutely loved the beaches, the women on the beachside especially !

.
I visited Sydney and Melbourne last year.
But at that time, we did not have an International airport here In Bangalore.
We had to travel to Chennai first and then board a plane to Sydney from there
I will post my pictures in this thread shortly .

Glad you liked it over here. Australia sure is a beautiful country. I always thought Sydney was crowded, but I guess if you come from a much more populated area, it would appear different
Looking forward to your pictures!
I will love to go to Sydney too.
Australia is a very nice country.
Certainly,Australia is a lovely tourist destination.Sydney is one place that comes on the top as far lovely beaches are concerned. It is a place where you can have the pleasure of beach sports. But in recent past I have heard about few tragedies of people drowning, one should be cautious, when out on a beach.
I am trying to head to australia for a professional degree. Lets see if i could get into the Melbourne University. I would love to visit the Opera House and the also the sydney symphony orchestra. My friends tell me it plays soulful music. Also being an avid cricket lover i would love to catch a few ashes tests there.
i never visit Australia, that too i don't know how is Sydney...
anyhow there is any wonderful place to visit...
anybody tell me...
I always wanted to go to Sydney when I was in middle school and a lot younger. I admired the beauty of the beaches and really wanted to go!
As I've grown older I've become more interested in other destinations, but Sydney is still a place I always keep in the back of my mind.
I Have Never Visited Australia Before. But I Do Know Sydney Very Well(Watched In Lot Of Movies Hehe). I Read About It On The Net. Its A Cool And A Must Visit Place If We Visit Australia. I Hope I Will Visit AUS One Day For Sure.
Here are some of the top places to visit in Sydney.
Sydney Opera House
Bondi Beach
Sydney Harbour Bridge (lovingly nicknamed The Coat Hanger)
Taronga Zoo
Of course there are dozens of other attractions, but people who I know who have visited Australia from overseas always went to these places.
Thanks for the images and information.
I really want to go and am starting to plan my trip right now.
Thanks again!
